Cancellation Policy
The cancellation of an event more than 60 days prior to the event will result in a full refund less a small administrative fee. No refunds will be given to events canceled 59 days or less prior to the event unless the event is rescheduled within six months of the original date. If you reschedule your event within six months of the original date, all deposits will be applied to the balance of your new event date.
Handicap Accessibility
This two-story building has entrances on both floors that can be accessed with a wheelchair. The building does not have an elevator. All of the bathrooms (including the handicap bathroom) are located on the first floor. There are handicap parking spaces at the front of the building.
Hotels
There are two major hotels (Marriott and AC Hotel) located downtown and walking distance to the Dogwood Manor. In addition, there are many hotels in the area.
Rehearsal
Couples often choose to have both their rehearsal dinner (the night before) and wedding at the Dogwood Manor. By securing the space for consecutive days you will receive a substantial discount for the second day. Reserving the room for both events will both save you money on rentals and allow more flexibility when scheduling your rehearsal.
If this is a one-day rental we can schedule a one hour rehearsal time based on availability the day before or the morning of your wedding.
Reserve the Date
Your reservation is secured with a signed contract and a deposit.
Security
Security is required for all events where alcohol is served. Security will need to be on-site 30 minutes before and after the event.
Set-up and Clean-up
Users are required to leave the building and grounds as they found them. Monies will be taken out of the refundable damage fee if additional clean-up is required. We do not recommend the use of confetti, glitter, birdseed, rice, bubbles or other items that are hard to clean up.
Smoking
Smoking (including vaping) is not permitted in the building or the courtyard. We have designated smoking areas in front and behind the building.
Weather
Since the weather is beyond our control we would recommend you have a contingency indoor plan for all your activities planned for the courtyard. The Dogwood Manor can also help you arrange for tent rentals.
